Worldwide Ward Christmas Cookbook

The Worldwide Ward Christmas Cookbook has hit the shelves. Are you so excited? I hope so. I put this book together at work--and it has great recipes for the holidays. (I work for Covenant Communications as a graphic designer.) I even hand did some of the illustrations. My family submitted some of the recipes for the book. You can find my parents famous cheese fudge on page 233 and Cruz's (my husband) recipe for Ham Bread a Venezuelan traditional recipe on page 134 as well as a picture of us. :) The Ham Bread is super yummy. We made it last year for Christmas. We are going to make it again this year. I hear that the pumpkin cobbler is amazing, I am going to have to try that one. This would make a fun gift for your family for Christmas or buy one for yourself. You can pick it up at Seagull or Deseret Book. (They may also have them at Costco.) I am really excited for the holidays. Happy cooking everyone!!!

  2. Oooh, ooh. I can't wait to check this out. I'm not usually a cookbook kind of person (if I haven't tasted it yet, then I'm not especially motivated to make it), but for this I may make an exception.

I did not realize you had a blog. Very nice. I like your title.

  3. Oooh I didn't know you had a blog - glad I came across it when you commented on mine! Hey that is so cool you designed this book ... it looks awesome and I am giving it to my stepmom for Christmas. I featured it in a couple places in the current issue of Utah Valley Magazine! You can see the magazine online or I did send one to Covenant - to Robby I think. Check it out! We should catch up for lunch sometime soon with Heather. Maybe this week?

  4. I do have a blog. I am not great at updating it... but I will work on that. :)
Lexers... you have a blog, that is fun.

Wendi... I totally get you about the tasting thing. I also like to see a picture of the food, if I haven't made it before. But this book has mostly easy things to make.

Kim... Lunch is a YES!!! I wrote ya on facebook!

Thanks for the comments. I loved getting them.
    :)
